Success is something that you attract by becoming an attractive person!
In “Excelling in the New Millennium: Personal Development”, Jim Rohn shares his experience with personal development revealing valuable essentials to becoming wealthy in mind and body.
If you are wishing for more prosperity or desiring wealth, it requires attention and knowledge on multiple levels. There are three levels of consciousness to transform your relationship with money.
In the “real” external or outer world, we must gain and understand financial knowledge. We educate ourselves about income and expenses, investing, taxes, and the importance of savings. We read books, watch television programs, attend classes and learn about the stock market, planning for retirement, how to ask for a raise, how to cut our taxes, and managing money. Here is where we develop skills, acquire tools, and use our experience to make sound decisions. At this level, it is our lack of knowledge and skill most likely to trip us up.
We also must understand our feelings, thoughts, beliefs and values around money, prosperity, wealth, poverty, and all that entails. From early childhood we have absorbed lessons, true and untrue, and developed beliefs about money from parents, school, friends, the media, our religions and our cultures. Our values around money, wealth, work, poverty and other money-related issues were also formed early on. We are still absorbing messages about money, especially in the western cultures where money is “king”. Your unconscious beliefs or values can negatively or positively affect your ability to choose wisely. Making these beliefs conscious and determining whether they are still useful to you may enable you to make better choices and have what you desire. There are many tools and techniques available to bring these beliefs to light including simple ones like asking yourself questions about what you believe and why.
The last way we affect prosperity is through our spiritual practices and understanding. It helps to learn about the spiritual laws governing prosperity and abundance in our lives. These include having clear insight into who you are, and your place in the world. It includes understanding the interconnectedness of all living things and the planet. For many of us, having clarity and congruency, living an authentic life, understanding the laws of attraction, and being in touch with our inner spirit or self (sometimes called higher self are necessary steps in transforming our relationship with money. And most importantly, having intense gratitude for all we already have.
The Prosperity Game By Abraham-Hicks Ask and It Is Given
In this process, you will begin by establishing an imaginary checking account. In other words, there will be no actual bank involved, but you will make deposit entries and check withdrawals just as if it were an actual account. You could use an old checkbook system that is no longer in use, an accounting program in your computer, or you could even manufacture a complete system by using a notebook as your checkbook register and blank pieces of paper for your deposit slips and checks. It is of value to make this process feel as real to you as possible.
On the first day, deposit $1,000. And spend it. In other words, make a $1,000 deposit entry into your checkbook register, then write out checks to spend those dollars. You could spend your money all in one place, using one check, or your could spend it for several different things, using several different checks. The point of the game is to have fun thinking about what you would like to purchase, and to enjoy the process of actually writing out the checks.
Be descriptive on the memo portion of the check. For example: For a beautiful writing pen or Great running shoes or Membership at Gordon’s Health Spa. You can spend it all today, or save some of it for another day. However, we encourage you to do your best to spend it today, because tomorrow you will be making another wonderful deposit.
On the second day, deposit $2,000.
On the third day, deposit $3,000.
On the fourth day, deposit $4,000.
When you reach day 50, deposit $50,000. When you reach day 300, deposit $300,000. If you play this game every day for one year, you will have deposited and spent more than $66 million.
You will be benefiting by increasing your ability to imagine. In other words, you will discover, as you play the game for a few weeks, that it will begin to take real concentration to spend that much money. And so, your ability to imagine will expand tremendously.
Most of our physical friends really do not exercise their imagination very much. Most people offer their vibrations almost exclusively in response to what they are observing, but by playing this game, you will find yourself reaching for new ideas, and in time, you will feel the expansion of your own desire and expectation. In doing so, you will benefit by shifting your point of attraction.
You see, the Universe is responding to your vibrational offering, not to your current state of being. So, if you are giving your attention only to your current state of being, then your future evolves much the same. But if you are giving focused attention to these wonderful expanding ideas that this game evokes from you, the Universe now responds to the vibrations of those thoughts.
The Universe makes no distinction between the vibration you offer in response to what you are living and the vibration that you offer in response to what you are imagining, so this Prosperity Game Process is a powerful tool for shifting your vibrational point of attraction.
You can play the game for a short time, or you can play it for an entire year or more. Whatever you choose is appropriate. It may feel awkward in the beginning, but the longer you play the game, the more expansive your imagination will become. And as your imagination expands and you focus on the spirit of fun and expansion, your point of attraction will shift.
By writing the checks, using your imagination, writing the memos, focusing as you write, and feeling no resistance as you write the checks because there is no fear of overspending, you will achieve what is necessary in the achievement of anything: You will have made a statement of desire while you are in the state of non-resistance, or better said, in the state of allowing.
So, not only will you have the benefit of an expanded imagination, but your point of attraction will shift, and your life experience will then shift as well. Not only will your financial situation improve, but all manner of things that you have focused upon with pleasure will begin to flow into your experience.
You can start the game or stop it, and you can play it in any way you like. There are no rules; there is nothing that you should or should not do. In other words, pick it up and play with it. Spend as much as you want. But the important thing is: Do your best to exercise your imagination.
Joyously playing this Prosperity Game will not only improve your financial state of being, but every aspect of your life will improve as well. It will not only help you activate more vibrations around things that you want, but it will assist you in focusing, more of the time, in a way that allows the things that you want to flow into your experience.
Playing this game will cause you to offer a more expansive, expectant vibration. And it is our promise to you that manifestations will begin to arrive in response to your changed vibration.
The 8 Myths About Creating Wealth by Nikola Grubisa
You have probably read or heard about various myths (these are the truths that are valid only for certain cases, but not in general) surrounding wealth and wealthy people, all of which hinder your quest for financial independence. Here are the most common and most destructive:
Myth No. 1: How much you earn depends on how hard you work
If this were true, then the physical, blue-collar workers, who have been working hard for years, would have been the wealthiest people on earth. Of course, this isn’t true. They form most of the workforce and the vast majority of the middle-class.
If you witnessed your parents coming home tired from a long day’s work in your youth, you probably learned that money wasn’t a sufficient reward for all that effort. People who work “just” for the money often have debts because they comfort themselves with whatever they can buy, beautiful things they lack when working.
Myth No. 2: Being paid for something you enjoy isn’t work and you shouldn’t ask for money for doing something that is enjoyable.
Check this with millionaires. They all have so much money that they don’t need to work anymore. Nevertheless, they work for other reasons, challenge, satisfaction, fullness of life, activity, fun … and all are connected to a love for their work. If there was no joy in doing a certain task, they would do something else that would make them much happier and that enables them to realize their dreams.
In fact, if you don’t enjoy your work, you will never become wealthy doing it! However, just because you enjoy your work doesn’t mean you shouldn’t get paid for it - in fact, that is the ultimate goal, to get paid for what you already enjoy so it never feels like you are at work!
Myth No. 3: You need to be in the right line of business to amass wealth
Do you think so? This must mean that all the people who are involved in the same business are millionaires. Of course, this isn’t true. In each business there are winners and losers; winners abound, even in businesses that consist of distasteful (to most) or “impossible” work like sweeping the streets, collecting the trash, working in a factory, pumping gas, selling newspapers, etc. On the other hand, there are just as many “losers” in businesses like selling real estate, management or being a stockbroker.
Myth No. 4: You need the right education to make a fortune
Are the most educated people really the wealthiest? Not at all! In this case, university professors would be the wealthiest people on earth. Ask them about their salaries, if you get the opportunity. The truth is vastly different - the wealthiest people are those who can convert their knowledge (or education) into money, in the best possible way. They can be highly educated people (like inventors, scientists, etc.) or almost ignorant.
Being formally uneducated does not equate to poor performance on the job or the inability to form a strong enough vision to carry a person to success - they can easily be experts without having a formal education.
Myth No. 5: It used to be easier
Statistics show an increase in the number of millionaires in the world every year. Talking about the “good old times” only offers comfort and a convenient excuse. If you look around, you’ll see there are people who behaved the same way in the “good old times” as they do now, yet their success has been recent. With technology and progress come new ideas, desires and needs and there are more business opportunities appearing daily to serve them.
Myth No. 6: I’m too old (young)
If you research the life stories of some of the most successful people, you’ll see that this isn’t true at all. Some became wealthy early in their lives (perhaps from the stock market), while others found their fortune in their old age. Ray Kroc, was more than fifty years old when he bought and made the first McDonald’s.
Myth No. 7: I don’t have enough money to start. You have to spend money to make money.
This is no different from any other excuse or “myth.” Like the others, it’s obvious this one isn’t true either. Many have made their fortunes starting from scratch, living in an apartment or working out of their garage and yet, they developed business empires that are worth billions of dollars today. The other elements of success are far more important than having seed money to start a business.
But yes, often money helps and it certainly doesn’t hurt. Like everything else discussed in other myths: it probably helps, but it is not always necessary.
Myth No. 8: I’ll begin when I know everything
Do you believe that you will know everything someday? Or even that you’ll know enough to ever be “really prepared now?” The more you learn, the more you see what you still need to learn. Success and obtaining wealth is a dynamic process. Even if you “could” come out of the gate knowing everything there is to know, some of those elements will change immediately and many will change rapidly. If you don’t decide now, nothing will happen. Live and learn.
Some millionaires have even allowed themselves to go bankrupt and then (even faster) recreated their wealth, sometimes even greater than before. Money itself isn’t the obstacle that is keeping you from being wealthy. If you’re really good in your business, don’t worry, because someone that will offer you money (a bank or business partner) will appear who will appreciate your talent knowing you are a very good investment opportunity. But you can’t sit around waiting for this - make it happen.
Exercise “taking action” as much as you can. Make your workplace better or more efficient. After all, even if someone else signs your paycheck, you really work for you. Even if you are an employee in a large corporation - it isn’t your corporation - but it is the only corporation through which you can prove what you are capable of right now.
All of us have what it takes to become a millionaire! Born winners, yet few of us know how to take advantage of and cultivate the possibilities hidden inside our own mind!
No one can ever grant you greater potential than your heart already holds…you need only discover its contents to find the one true path to your success in life. Born with the seeds to our success, the greatest decisions must always come from the inside! You will discover a new, deep well of fortune – yourself!
