The Law of Attraction - 2012 Virtues

December 31st, 2011 | Posted in Blog | No Comments

Recently we all have had experiencing turmoils in global markets, crisis, changing in business, etc…and personally being curious of the human behavior I went deep down into the rabbit hole to seek and understand what the heck is going on in the world as it seem that lot of confusion and misunderstanding has taken place into the mind population.

It seems that all fell into one place…ETHICS. Yes I bet.

The wikipedia definition is as it follow: Ethics, also known as moral philosophy, is a branch of philosophy that addresses questions about morality—that is, concepts such as good and evil, right and wrong, virtue and vice, justice and crime, etc.

See what we are experiencing in the world today is an effect of root cause; the fact is that we are trying to solve this problems from a standpoint of view like a doctor trying to cure a illness giving some medicine. But in reality if we look at the root cause (could be eating healthy, exercise, etc) the problem is solved.

So how does it related with Ethics? Because men has stopped to look in one direction…which is the inner world, a direction of facing his reality - scary because we are imperfect and we have problem beyond imagination. We have lost contact with the realm of nature, other spices and mostly with mankind and the future of the planet earth. I do not want to be cheesy but to get a real sense and perception of what is going on around us.

It seems that we have limited perception of the world due to different facts…conditioning, environment, education are elements that restrain perception and the expansion of consciousness.

Going back time I went to study the old western philosophy founded by Socrates and he created the basics of self-development as expressed 400 years B.C. - Socrates believed the best way for people to live was to focus on self-development rather than the pursuit of material wealth.

He always invited others to try to concentrate more on friendships and a sense of true community, for Socrates felt this was the best way for people to grow together as a populace. The idea that humans possessed certain virtues formed a common thread in Socrates’ teachings. These virtues represented the most important qualities for a person to have, foremost of which were the philosophical or intellectual virtues. Socrates stressed that “virtue was the most valuable of all possessions; the ideal life was spent in search of the Good. Truth lies beneath the shadows of existence, and it is the job of the philosopher to show the rest how little they really know.”

Turbulents times lies ahead if you do not start to go back to basics and fundamentals in our society, politics and economics…this is a good time to look at what we have been doing and how to move forward.

Let’s go back to ETCHICS and develop qualities that will transform mankind. I am worried that our society is so focused in the achievement of goals to miss the most important part of all…the achievement of Virtues…where is the point to achieve all the wealth and material possession to the detriment of the planet?

Let’s go back to FUNDAMENTALS.
